Swamp White Oak (Quercus bicolor) is a resilient, Wisconsin-native tree known for its adaptability to wet, acidic soils, and its impressive mature height of up to 75 feet. Its broad, rounded canopy provides excellent shade, making it an ideal choice for large lawns, parks, and naturalized areas. With its high resistance to drought, compaction, and some common pests, this Oak is a valuable and long-lasting addition to landscapes, particularly in areas prone to occasional flooding or standing water.
